New Everlaw & Legora Partnership Enables End-to-End AI Litigation Workflows
by Casey Sullivan
Legal teams have always faced pressure – to move more quickly, handle more matters, deliver better outcomes. That is nothing new. But AI promises to relieve that burden some. Today’s leading generative AI tools are driving faster insights, aiding more consistent, reliable work product, and even creating new ways to get legal work done.
The problem? Many of these solutions are fragmented, with AI-assisted drafting happening on one surface, evidence gathering and analysis on another, and case strategy coalescing in entirely separate workstreams. Each step is walled off from the next.
Today, Everlaw and Legora are helping solve this problem, announcing a new strategic technology partnership that connects litigators’ AI-powered workflows across two leading platforms. This collaboration allows lawyers and legal professionals to unify their litigation processes, smoothly progressing through early case assessment, the discovery process, analysis, research, and drafting.
This partnership brings together Legora’s collaborative AI drafting and legal work environment with Everlaw’s industry-leading discovery, analysis, and EverlawAI Deep Dive search capabilities to help teams move from evidence to strategy with greater speed, confidence, and precision, in a unique solution that spans both platforms.
"Litigation attorneys need the right information to ensure everything they submit to court contains the best factual arguments, alongside the best legal arguments, and this means their AI platform for drafting and legal analysis must be connected to their evidence," said Adrian Parlow, VP of Product at Legora. "This integration brings the factual record directly into the drafting and legal analysis process, so attorneys can produce work product that is precise, consistent, and grounded in the evidence their teams have already gathered and reviewed."
With the new Everlaw and Legora integration, legal teams can:
Move Seamlessly Between Discovery and Drafting: When drafting in Legora’s Editor, litigators can now directly access evidence and analysis surfaced in Everlaw, grounding their work in a “single source of truth” without needing to toggle between two platforms, or worse, juggling manual exports and imports.
Accelerate Insight Across Questions of Law and Fact: Users can now combine Legora’s Assistant to conduct legal research while leveraging EverlawAI Deep Dive to query their discovery documents – millions at a time – allowing teams to tackle questions of law and fact together.
Drive Better, More Collaborative Outcomes: Litigation teams and corporate counsel can come together to collaborate in Legora’s Portal environment, jointly creating work product that can now rely on Everlaw’s AI-powered tools, regardless of the size and complexity of the data set.
How Everlaw’s Legora Integration Works
With Everlaw's Legora integration, users can access documents stored in Everlaw directly within Legora’s drafting environment. From Legora, users can take advantage tools like Deep Dive to query, retrieve, and cite evidence from their Everlaw document sets – whether a few thousand documents or tens of millions.
Whether drafting witness statements, preparing questioning for depositions, or composing briefs, attorneys can now surface relevant information from Everlaw directly within Legora, ensuring that every argument, citation, and assertion is tied to a specific document and passage.
Litigators preparing for a key deposition, for example, can query millions of documents in real time with Deep Dive. Legora pulls the relevant information straight into your drafts, each linked back to the Bate-stamped source in Everlaw.
The new integration also maintains user permissions across both platforms. Legora users can access only the documents they are already authorized to view in Everlaw, allowing organizations to adopt AI-driven workflows without compromising privilege, security, or access controls.
"This partnership delivers a seamless, end-to-end workflow,” notes David Shargel, a partner at Bracewell. “By pulling evidence and analysis directly from Everlaw into Legora’s drafting environment, our legal teams can ensure every assertion is grounded in verified evidence, which significantly accelerates insight and leads to better legal outcomes.”
As litigation teams look for faster, more connected ways to move from discovery to strategy, Everlaw’s Legora integration offers a straight path forward: one that brings drafting and evidence closer together, helps teams work more fluidly at immense scale, and keeps AI outputs grounded in the evidence.
